Big Walk IX postponed

Usually around this time of year I'm getting ready for a Big Walk, but this year is atypical for a couple of reasons:

1) Despite a winter that seemed to hang on longer than necessary, this year's cherry blossoms bloomed at least a week earlier than usual, throwing off everyone's hanami plans.

2) Big Walk IX will have to happen later because Wife and I are busy preparing for the birth of our first child.

W H A T ? !

Yeah, if you're one of the few readers of my blog who isn't one of my close friends, family or co-workers, you wouldn't have heard about this yet. But it's true. Wife is big as a beach ball and ready to burst. Predicted burst date: SOON. Like, next week.

The ramifications are apparent. On the one hand, this means less free time for me to devote to Chorus, Isolate, Confirm. On the other hand, it also means I have more to write about.

Expect Big Walk IX to happen later this year, possibly with an infant strapped to my back. In the meantime, here are some photos I took in my neighborhood.
