In 2005, I started a "live in Japan" blog called J-Log. Soon after, I renamed it to Chorus, Isolate, Confirm. After multiple years of dormancy, I decided to delete most of the posts I made after 2014. What exactly got deleted?
- Any post that was just a link to a YouTube video I made
- All "Soundtrack September" posts (many of them linked to videos that no longer existed)
- All "Month of Screenshots" posts
- Anything else of which I am now ashamed
Many of these deleted posts were the product of a lack of inspiration in the blogs later years, and their deletion resulted in a nearly 30% reduction in the blog's total volume.
I'm still rather attached to some of the writing I did over the course of the blog's life, which is why I haven't completely wiped it off the face of the internet. Follow the "older posts" link at the bottom of the main page to go back in time and enjoy my foolishness.
